St Vincent's Clinic Vascular Laboratory is a dedicated specialist ultrasound practice, staffed by qualified and accredited sonographers and equipped with state of the art sonographic technology.
Studies that are performed within the Vascular Laboratory include:
- Ankle Brachial Index (ABI)
- Upper limb and lower limb arterial duplex
- Arterial bypass graft surveillance
- Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) —
lower limb, upper limb and abdominal veins - Venous Incompetence
- Carotid & Vertebral artery duplex
- Transcranial Colour duplex
- Abdominal vasculature — Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA)
Renal artery duplex, Mesenteric artery duplex
None of the ultrasound examinations performed at St Vincent's Vascular Laboratory involve radiation or injections and are all non-invasive procedures.
